The Language Centre offers German language courses at levels A1. Participants earn 9 ECTS for the successful completion of the course.

Duration and content: 6 credit hours a total of 84hrs of integrated teaching of reading, listening, speaking and writing skills as well as grammar and German culture at level A1. Description: This general German language course is intended as an introduction to basic use of the German language. Participants in the course learn as quickly as possible to communicate in a simple way so that they can soon find their feet in their new surroundings, particularly at the University.

Description: This general German language course builds on the knowledge acquired in Deutschkurs 2 and consolidates students' ability to use the German language on a basic level. Students learn to communicate appropriately in basic everyday situations involving a simple, direct exchange of information on familiar, routine matters. Description: This general German language course builds on the knowledge acquired in Deutschkurs 3, and concludes the basic user courses.

The four skills of reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing and speaking are further developed on the basis of texts and situations. A knowledge of grammar is also further developed on this basis. Duration and content: 6 credit hours a total of 84hrs of integrated teaching of reading, listening, speaking and writing skills as well as grammar and German culture at level B1.
